"Design For Diabetes" Diabetes Patch Design Competition 

Last year MedStyle partnered with Diabetes NZ for Diabetes Action Month.

We asked T1 warriors across New Zealand to show us what living brave meant to them by designing the very first Diabetes Action Month CGM/FGM patch! And WOW! New Zealand’s youngest T1 designers did us proud! We were delighted to bring Sophia's design to life and made into an official RockDex Patch for Diabetes Action Month!

MedStyle donated proceeds from sales of this special limited-edition patch to Diabetes New Zealand and over 200 Living Brave patches to Diabetes youth, camps. 

12-year-old Sophia proudly wearing her winning patch design. Sophia entered our design for diabetes competition because she loves to draw, she says "I had so much fun designing the patch and I am so excited to see my design come to life"!

Sophia was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2020.
